eCommerce Solutions & Shopping Carts

Selling Your Products Online

If your business sells a product or service to the public, then it most likely can benefit from a professionally designed website where your buyers can purchase directly online.
eCommerce is quite simply the ability to conduct business transactions electronically.  Shopping carts are the most common tool for the job.  A shopping cart works virtually like a grocery cart at the supermarket.  You browse the isles placing items into your cart until you are ready to check out.  Once your have made your selections, its time to pay.
Merchant Payment Methods - Giving your buyer the ability to pay electronically with a credit or debit card is the most convenient method, although it is not the only way to accept payments.
Payment methods may include credit cards, debit cards, checks by fax, electronics drafts or checks that are mailed in along with order forms.  In the case of a local buyer, the customer simply walks into the store with payment for the item he or she requested online.

Which should I choose?
When choosing a method to sell online, you need to ask yourself a few questions:
How do I do business currently?  If you already accept credit cards and debit cards, then you are already able to accept payments online.
Does my "store" only sell locally?  If you only sell locally and do not wish to expand your customer base to a more regional or national base, then you probably only need a website where your local customers can browse your inventory.
Will I ship my product?  Expansion of your customer base will certainly create a need for shipping.  Shipping costs are almost always paid by the buyer, however some merchants choose to absorb these costs on specific promotional items or products on sale.  Its your choice.
Can I ship my product?  If you are a Real Estate Agent or Agency, obviously you only need a website that showcases your product or in this example houses.  If you sell an intangible item such as electronic media, software, or downloadable material, then eCommerce is a perfect fit.
Can I sell my services online?  If you provide services on a strictly local basis, then you probably only need a website to get your business in front of the buying public.  If you can provide your service remotely, then you could benefit greatly by offering the ability to purchase online.

Whichever method you choose, our website design, promotions and eCommerce solutions can help you and your business get in front of more buyers and increase sales.
